There are many different stretch films on the market, but which is best? Film suppliers claim to have the best or cheapest film on the market, but this depends on your machine. The more expensive stretch films consist of a different composition that enrich the quality. Additionally, the stretch film market keeps on innovating. In the US a 32-layer film is being developed.

There are 2 types of stretch films, namely blown and cast. The difference between these is the production process and the resulting unique features. A cast film is usually cheaper than a blown film. A blown film is generally stiffer than a cast film and has a milky glow.
